First mission accomplished! I've met my first waypoint goal by identifying additional resources to work with and by identifying the three principles of self-regulated learning I want to incorporate into my final project resources. Here we go!

Principles of SRL I intend to implement:
Planning: set goals (student led)
Full unit assigned on day one – give in a workbook or create centers
Have students create a plan of action for how they will work through the material (what order, how quickly, deadlines, etc.)
Performance: monitor own time management (student-led)
Student check-in against own goals for time limits/ deadlines/ sequencing)... not a full-blown self assessment, just a check against set time goals
Reflection: feedback that allows for modification/ correction (teacher-led & student-led)
Student self-assessment tool for mid-unit
Teacher assessment that generates 'moving forward' actions at mid unit OR that generates student revision actions at end of unit before final grade is given
